Bio

Jenna Haynes was a founding member of Jubal's Academy, where she has played flute, clarinet, oboe, and trumpet. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from Campbellsville University. While in high school, she completed her Girl Scout Gold Award by collecting and repairing used instruments and donating them to local school music programs. She also gave the world premiere performance of a piece written by composer Gary Schocker. She has performed with various ensembles at Campbellsville University and the Kentucky Baptist Convention. She studied flute with Jacquie Miller and Dr. Lisa McArthur and has played on masterclasses with world renowned flutist Gary Schocker. She has also studied oboe with Trevor Johnson, former principal oboist of the Louisville Orchestra. She actively participates in the Heartland Winds as an oboe player. Ms. Haynes has served as Program Director of Jubal's Academy since 2019. She resides in Elizabethtown with her cats Beary Barry Berry and Sweet Caroline and dog Leo.
